Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Hendersonville Bearcats (Hendersonville, NC), 59-50 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Monroe advances its record to 16-3 on the year. The Redhawks travel to Reidsville (Reidsville, NC) to face the Rams in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 4. The Rams enter the match with a record of 27-0. Reidsville won 94-62 in their recent non-league match against North Stanly (New London, NC)
