California High School Lacrosse - Miramonte overwhelms Granite Bay
February 28, 2025: Orinda, CA 94563 The Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA) lacrosse routed the visiting Granite Bay Grizzlies (Granite Bay, CA), 18-13 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Matadors now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tamalpais for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 4. Miramonte will face a Red Tailed Hawks squad coming off a 15-4 non-league loss to Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA). The Red Tailed Hawks record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Granite Bay falls to 0-2 on the year. The Grizzlies host Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA) to face the Trojans in a Sierra Foothill League outing on Tuesday, March 4. The Trojans go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Oak Ridge won 13-11 in their recent non-league outing against Marin Catholic (Kentfield, CA)
