In Friday's non-league bout, the Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC), by a tally of 13-0.

Next up, the Golden Eagles encounter the Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 8. Surry Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record.

The Trojans (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC). The Sauras enter the non-league bout with a 0-1 record.
