North Carolina High School Baseball - West Columbus edges East Duplin
February 28, 2025: Cerro Gordo, NC 28430 In Friday's non-league game, the host West Columbus Vikings baseball team scored a close 6-3 win over the East Duplin Panthers.
The Vikings (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Fairmont (Fairmont, NC). The Golden Tornadoes go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Fairmont by Overhills (Spring Lake, NC), 9-5, in a non-league game.
Next, the Panthers play the Richlands Wildcats (Richlands, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 7. East Duplin will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 1-1 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC).
