Georgia High School Soccer - Sherwood Christian Academy toppled by Cairo
February 28, 2025: Albany, GA 31721 Cairo Syrupmakers (Cairo, GA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles (Albany, GA), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Cairo moves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Syrupmakers host Westover (Albany, GA) to clash with the Patriots in a 3A Area 1 test on Tuesday, March 4. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 1-3. Westover lost 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Cook (Adel, GA)
The Eagles now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Georgia Arts for a non-league test on Monday, March 3. Sherwood Christian Academy will clash with a team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Milledgeville Athletic Club (Milledgeville, GA). The record now stands at 1-1.
