February 28, 2025: Weaver, AL 36277 Weaver Bearcats (Weaver, AL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Faith Christian Lions (Anniston, AL), 9-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Weaver moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Jacksonville (Jacksonville, AL) to clash with the Golden Eagles in a non-league test on Monday, March 3. The Golden Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-3. Jacksonville lost 6-0 in their recent non-league test against Guntersville (Guntersville, AL)
The Lions now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Donoho for a non-league test on Thursday, March 6. Faith Christian will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 3-3 non-league Cherokee County (Centre, AL). The Falcons record now stands at 1-0.
