Mississippi High School Softball - Noxapater drops to Starkville
February 28, 2025: Noxapater, MS 39346 Starkville Yellowjackets (Starkville, MS) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Noxapater Tigers (Noxapater, MS), 15-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Starkville improves its record to 3-2 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Houston (Houston, MS) to face the Hilltoppers in a non-league game on Friday, February 28. The Hilltoppers enter the game with a record of 4-3. Houston won 3-1 in their recent non-league game against Vardaman (Vardaman, MS)
The Tigers now hold a 0-5 record. They play next when they host French Camp Academy for a 1A Region 6 game on Tuesday, March 4. Noxapater will face a Panthers squad coming off a 17-2 non-league loss to Eupora (Eupora, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 2-5.
