The MacArthur Cardinals (Irving, TX) baseball trounced the visiting Bowie Volunteers (Arlington, TX), 9-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trinity for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 5. MacArthur will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Burleson (Burleson, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, Bowie drops to 2-9 on the year. The Volunteers travel to La Vega (Waco, TX) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 5. The Pirates go into the challenge with a record of 1-5.
