Texas High School Baseball - Frenship loses to Lovejoy
February 28, 2026: Lucas, TX 75002 Lovejoy Leopards (Lucas, TX) followers left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Frenship Tigers (Wolfforth, TX), 15-5 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Lovejoy moves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Leopards host Westlake (Austin, TX) to battle the Chaparrals in a non-league match on Saturday, February 28. The Chaparrals come into the match with a record of 5-3. Westlake won 5-3 in their recent non-league match against Southlake Carroll (Southlake, TX)
The Tigers now possess a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Monterey for a non-league game on Thursday, March 5. Frenship will play a Plainsmen team coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Montwood (El Paso, TX). The Plainsmen record now stands at 5-5.
