The Plant Panthers (Tampa, FL) baseball overwhelmed the host Sumner Stingrays (Riverview, FL), 11-5 in Saturday's non-league bout.

Next up, the Panthers encounter the Jefferson Dragons (Tampa, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 3. Plant will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Dragons enter the bout with a 5-1 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Durant (Plant City, FL).

The Stingrays (4-3) will now prepare for their bout against East Bay (Gibsonton, FL). The Indians enter the non-league bout with a 6-1 record. In their last bout, East Bay nipped Steinbrenner (Lutz, FL), 9-8, in a non-league challenge.
