In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Coronado Islanders lacrosse squad scored a tight 15-13 triumph over the Bishop Manogue Miners.

The Islanders (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Point Loma (San Diego, CA). The Pointers go into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Point Loma held off La Jolla Country Day (La Jolla, CA), 9-6, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Miners play the Damonte Ranch Mustangs (Reno, NV) in a HSLL game, on Wednesday, March 4. Bishop Manogue will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 0-2 record after their 17-0 league loss to Douglas (Minden, NV).
