The Harrison Central Red Rebels softball squad (Gulfport, MS), was edged 4-3 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Clarkdale Bulldogs (Meridian, MS)

With the triumph, Clarkdale improves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Bulldogs host Bay Springs (Bay Springs, MS) to face the Bulldogs in a 2A Region 7 contest on Tuesday, March 3. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 3-2.

In their next game, the Red Rebels battle the D'Iberville Warriors (D'Iberville, MS) in a 7A Region 4 match, on Tuesday, March 3. Harrison Central will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record.
