In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Buena Park Coyotes (Buena Park, CA) baseball squad edged the visiting Paramount Pirates (Paramount, CA), by a final score of 3-2.

With the win, Buena Park upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Coyotes host Costa Mesa (Costa Mesa, CA) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 2.
