The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Berean Christian Eagles (Walnut Creek, CA) and the visiting California Grizzlies (San Ramon, CA), saw Berean Christian's volleyball squad nip California by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Berean Christian upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Freedom (Oakley, CA) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 5. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Freedom lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Mission San Jose (Fremont, CA)

The Grizzlies now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to De La Salle for a East Bay bout on Tuesday, March 5. California will play a Spartans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Deer Valley (Antioch, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 6-5.
