The West Caldwell Warriors baseball squad (Lenoir, NC), was overwhelmed 16-5 in Thursday's non-league test with the visiting Wilkes Central Eagles (Wilkesboro, NC)

With the win, Wilkes Central upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to North Surry (Mount Airy, NC) to battle the Greyhounds in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 2. The Greyhounds come into the test with a record of 0-0.

With the defeat, West Caldwell falls to 0-2 on the season. The Warriors host Freedom (Morganton, NC) to battle the Patriots in a non-league test on Friday, March 1. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 1-0. Freedom won 6-0 in their recent non-league test against Avery County (Newland, NC)
