February 29, 2024: Ronda, NC 28670 In Thursday's non-league contest, the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) softball team overwhelmed the host East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC), by a margin of 12-1.
With the triumph, Alexander Central moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Cougars travel to South Iredell (Statesville, NC) to play the Vikings in a non-league contest on Friday, March 8. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 1-0.
In their next game, the Cardinals play the South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, March 6. East Wilkes will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
