February 29, 2024: Honea Path, SC 29654 Belton-Honea Path Bears (Honea Path, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pickens Blue Flame (Pickens, SC), 8-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Bears now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Gaffney for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. Belton-Honea Path will battle a Indians squad coming off a 9-3 non-league win over Pickens (Pickens, SC). The Indians record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Pickens falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Blue flame travel to Westside (Anderson, SC) to battle the Rams in a AAAA Region 1 challenge on Friday, March 15. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
