California High School Softball - Bishop Conaty-Loretto holds off San Gabriel Mission
February 29, 2024: San Gabriel, CA 91776 Bishop Conaty-Loretto Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host San Gabriel Mission Pioneers (San Gabriel, CA), 2-0 in a league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Venice for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. Bishop Conaty-Loretto will battle a Gondoliers squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Culver City (Culver City, CA). The Gondoliers record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, San Gabriel Mission falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to St. Mary's Academy (Inglewood, CA) to battle the Belles in a Santa Fe challenge on Tuesday, March 5. The Belles enter the challenge with a record of 1-4. St. Mary's Academy lost 18-10 in their recent league challenge against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA)
