February 29, 2024: Grand Saline, TX 75140 In Thursday's non-league contest, the Grand Saline Indians (Grand Saline, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Connally Cadets (Waco, TX), by a margin of 10-5.
With the triumph, Grand Saline moves its record to 11-5 on the year. The Indians travel to Stephenville (Stephenville, TX) to play the Yellow Jackets/Honeybees in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 2. The Yellow Jackets/Honeybees come into the contest with a record of 5-7. Stephenville won 18-5 in their recent non-league contest against Mildred (Corsicana, TX)
In their next game, the Cadets play the Incarnate Word Academy Angels (Corpus Christi, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 1. Connally will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Angels come into the contest with a 3-9 record after their 11-5 non-league loss to Lake Travis (Austin, TX).
