High Point Christian Academy Cougars (High Point, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC), 21-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northern Guilford for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1.

With the loss, East Forsyth falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to face the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Northwest Guilford won 12-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Central Davidson (Lexington, NC)
