Louisiana High School Softball - Springfield bounces Hammond
February 29, 2024: Hammond, LA 70401 Springfield Bulldogs (Springfield, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Hammond Tornadoes (Hammond, LA), 18-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Mandeville for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 2. Springfield will clash with a Skippers team coming off a 9-5 non-league loss to Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA). The Skippers record now stands at 4-3.
The Tornadoes (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA). The Jaguars come into the non-league test with a 5-4 record.
