Louisiana High School Softball - Kaplan bounces South Beauregard
February 29, 2024: Longville, LA 70652 The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Kaplan Pirates (Kaplan, LA) and the host South Beauregard Knights (Longville, LA), saw Kaplan's softball squad achieve victory over South Beauregard by a count of 16-4.
The Pirates now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cecilia for a non-league test on Saturday, March 2. Kaplan will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to North Vermilion (Maurice, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-7.
The Knights (3-6) will now prepare for their test against North DeSoto (Stonewall, LA). The Griffins come into the non-league test with a 10-0 record. In their last test, North DeSoto overcame West Ouachita (West Monroe, LA), 20-0, in a non-league test.
