In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Monterey Plainsmen softball team scored a nice 9-1 win over the Trinity Trojans.

Coming up next, the Plainsmen battle the Paschal Panthers (Fort Worth, TX) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, March 2. Monterey will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Panthers enter the outing with a 8-8 record after their 15-5 non-league loss to Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX).

The Trojans (7-7) will now prepare for their outing against Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league outing with a 14-2 record. In their last outing, Walnut Grove ran past Wylie East (Wylie, TX), 8-5, in a non-league outing.
