North Carolina High School Softball - Sun Valley loses to West Stanly

February 29, 2024: Monroe, NC 28110

The West Stanly Colts softball team scored 23 runs and limited the host Sun Valley Spartans to 2 in the Colts non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, West Stanly improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Colts host Central Academy (Monroe, NC) to clash with the Cougars in a Rocky River 2A/3A game on Tuesday, March 5. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 1-1.

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 4. Sun Valley will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 8-4 non-league loss to Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC).
