March 1, 2023: Munford, AL 36268 The Munford Lions baseball team scored 20 runs and limited the visiting Talladega County Central Fighting Tigers to 0 in the Lions non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Cleburne County (Heflin, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 5-1 record.
The Fighting Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Jefferson Christian Academy (Birmingham, AL). The Eagles go into the 1A Area 11 match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Jefferson Christian Academy was overwhelmed by Indian Springs (Pelham, AL), 14-2, in a non-league match.
