March 1, 2023: Wake Forest, NC 27587 Wake Forest Cougars (Wake Forest, NC) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars confront the Cleveland Rams (Clayton, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 3. Wake Forest will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record.
The Spartans now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Wake Forest for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 6. Sanderson will confront a Cougars team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Cleveland (Clayton, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 3-0.
