The Apex Cougars lacrosse team scored 19 points and held the visiting Willow Spring Storm to 5 in the Cougars non-league win on Wednesday.

The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Panther Creek (Cary, NC). The Catamounts go into the Southwest Wake match with a 0-0 record.

The Storm (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Middle Creek (Apex, NC). The Mustangs go into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Middle Creek was overwhelmed by Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC), 19-5, in a league match.
