Nixon Mustangs (Laredo, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Donna Redskins (Donna, TX), 1-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Nixon upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Martin (Laredo, TX) to battle the Tigers in a 5A Region IV District 30 test on Tuesday, March 12. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 4-4.
