In Friday's non-league outing, the East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC) basketball squad felled the visiting Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC), by a margin of 53-43.

The Mustangs (28-1) will now prepare for their outing against Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC). The Storm go into the non-league outing with a 24-5 record. In their last outing, Stuart W. Cramer thwarted Hibriten (Lenoir, NC), 69-64, in a non-league outing.
