In Friday's non-league match, the host Falls Lake Firebirds basketball team scored a good 75-57 triumph over the Washington County Panthers.

In their next game, the Firebirds meet the Chatham Central Bears (Bear Creek, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 5. Falls Lake will attempt to move on its 29-2 season record. The Bears enter the match with a 19-9 record after their 38-25 non-league win over Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC).
