Georgia High School Soccer - Bleckley County overwhelmed by Lamar County
March 1, 2024: Cochran, GA 31014 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Lamar County Trojans (Barnesville, GA) and the host Bleckley County Royals (Cochran, GA), saw Lamar County's soccer squad triumph over Bleckley County by a margin of 10-0.
The Trojans now sport a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Pike County for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 5. Lamar County will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA). The Pirates record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Bleckley County drops to 4-5 on the season. The Royals travel to East Laurens (East Dublin, GA) to meet the Falcons in a 1A D-I Region 2 test on Tuesday, March 5. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 9-0. East Laurens won 8-0 in their recent league test against Jefferson County (Louisville, GA)
