Acadiana Rams (Lafayette, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Westgate Tigers (New Iberia, LA), 17-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Rams now own a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cedar Creek for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 2. Acadiana will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-3.
