In Friday's non-league contest, the Comanche Indians (Comanche, TX) softball team held off the visiting Hico Tigers (Hico, TX), by a margin of 4-3.

With the triumph, Comanche moves its record to 8-7 on the year. The Indians host Peaster (Peaster, TX) to play the Greyhounds in a 3A Region I District 8 contest on Tuesday, March 5. The Greyhounds come into the contest with a record of 9-4. Peaster lost 9-6 in their recent non-league contest against Graham (Graham, TX)
