The Harper Longhorns routed the host Junction Eagles softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Friday's league battle.

The Longhorns (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Sonora (Sonora, TX). The Broncos go into the 2A Region IV District 28 battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Sonora topped San Saba (San Saba, TX), 17-1, in a league battle.

The Eagles now sport a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Wall for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 2. Junction will battle a Hawks team coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Lago Vista (Lago Vista, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 13-2.
