The Rio Grande City Rattlers softball team (Rio Grande City, TX), was routed 11-1 in Friday's non-league test with the visiting Medina Valley Panthers (Castroville, TX)

Coming up next, the Panthers clash with the Carroll Tigers (Corpus Christi, TX) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 2. Medina Valley will attempt to improve on its 14-5 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 11-5 record after their 9-0 non-league win over College Park (The Woodlands, TX).

The Rattlers (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial overcame Pearsall (Pearsall, TX), 15-1, in a non-league test.
