Texas High School Softball - Sachse bounces North Forney

Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Sachse Mustangs (Sachse, TX) and the host North Forney Falcons (Forney, TX), witnessed Sachse's softball squad tip North Forney by a count of 12-8.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Boyd for a non-league match on Friday, March 1. Sachse will meet a Broncos squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Plano West (Plano, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, North Forney moves to 2-5 on the season. The Falcons travel to Horn (Mesquite, TX) to meet the Jaguars in a 6A Region II District 10 match on Tuesday, March 5. The Jaguars go into the match with a record of 10-3. Horn lost 10-0 in their recent non-league match against Aledo (Aledo, TX)
