Alabama High School Softball - Tharptown nudges Wilson
March 1, 2024: Russellville, AL 35654 Tharptown Wildcats (Russellville, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Wilson Warriors (Florence, AL), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Decatur Heritage Christian Academy for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 2. Tharptown will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Clements (Athens, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Wilson falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Warriors host Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 2. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 3-0. Deshler won 17-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Marion County (Guin, AL)
