Texas High School Baseball - Rockdale defeats Abbott
March 1, 2025: Rockdale, TX 76567 The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Rockdale Tigers (Rockdale, TX) and the visiting Abbott Panthers (Abbott, TX), saw Rockdale's baseball team beat Abbott by a margin of 5-0.
The Tigers (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Riesel (Riesel, TX). The Indians enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Riesel was overwhelmed by Centerville (Centerville, TX), 6-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Panthers face the Mount Calm (Mount Calm, TX) in a 1A Region II District 16 battle, on Tuesday, March 4. Abbott will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
