Gibson County Pioneers (Dyer, TN) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Riverside Panthers (Decaturville, TN), 67-63 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Gibson County advances its record to 15-14 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Peabody (Trenton, TN) to face the Golden Tide in a 2A District 14 match on Tuesday, March 4. The Golden Tide enter the match with a record of 21-5. Peabody won 71-56 in their recent non-league match against Madison (Jackson, TN)

The Panthers now own a 17-14 record.
