March 1, 2025: Daly City, CA 94015 Monta Vista Matadors (Cupertino, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Summit Shasta Black Bears (Daly City, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Monta Vista improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Matadors travel to San Leandro (San Leandro, CA) to face the Pirates in a non-league test on Saturday, March 1. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 2-0. San Leandro won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Oakland (Oakland, CA)
The Black Bears now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lowell for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 4. Summit Shasta will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Aragon (San Mateo, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-0.
