Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Pacific Ridge Firebirds (Carlsbad, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Helix improves its record to 4-4 on the season. The Highlanders travel to San Marcos (San Marcos, CA) to face the Knights in a non-league test on Saturday, March 1. The Knights go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Firebirds now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Canyon Crest Academy for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 5.
