California High School Lacrosse - Canyon overwhelms Peninsula

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Canyon Comanches lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-4 triumph over the Peninsula Panthers.

The Comanches (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Downey (Downey, CA). The Vikings go into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Downey was overwhelmed by Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA), 12-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Royal Highlanders (Simi Valley, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 1. Peninsula will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Highlanders go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 22-16 non-league win over West Ranch (Valencia, CA).
