The South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) softball routed the visiting Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC), 14-4 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Spartans now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Rutherford for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 4. South Caldwell will encounter a Cavaliers team coming off a 10-4 non-league win over Crest (Shelby, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Bunker Hill moves to 3-1 on the season. The Bears host Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC) to encounter the Wolves in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A outing on Tuesday, March 4.
