The Dripping Springs Tigers softball squad (Dripping Springs, TX), was edged 4-3 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX)

With the triumph, Guyer improves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Wildcats host Coppell (Coppell, TX) to face the Cowboys in a 6A Region I District 5 contest on Friday, March 7. The Cowboys enter the contest with a record of 9-5.
