Louisiana High School Softball - Lutcher tipped by Kaplan
March 1, 2025: Lutcher, LA 70071 Kaplan Pirates (Kaplan, LA) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lutcher Bulldogs (Lutcher, LA), 3-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Kaplan improves its record to 8-0 on the year. The Pirates host Erath (Erath, LA) to face the Bobcats in a 3A District 5 game on Monday, March 3. The Bobcats enter the game with a record of 0-6. Erath lost 17-0 in their recent non-league game against Barbe (Lake Charles, LA)
The Bulldogs now hold a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Southside for a non-league game on Saturday, March 1. Lutcher will face a Sharks squad coming off a 9-2 non-league win over New Iberia (New Iberia, LA). The Sharks record now stands at 2-1.
