The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Valley Christian Trojans (Chandler, AZ) and the visiting Mountain View Mountain Lions (Tucson, AZ), observed Valley Christian's softball team get by Mountain View by a tally of 13-7.

The Trojans (4-0) will now prepare for their bout against Globe (Globe, AZ). The Tigers go into the 3A South Central bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Globe was routed by Safford (Safford, AZ), 20-5, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Mountain Lions clash with the Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, March 5.
