Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC), 17-6 in a non-league battle.

The Whirlies now own a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they host Page for a Conference 9 battle on Monday, March 8. Grimsley will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 7-4 league win over Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 3-4.
