March 2, 2022: Fayetteville, GA 30215 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Lambert Longhorns (Suwanee, GA) and the host Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA), saw Lambert's baseball squad knock off Starr's Mill by a count of 14-3.
Coming up next, the Longhorns play the Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, March 3. Lambert will attempt to advance on its 6-3 season record. The Hawks go into the match with a 1-6 record after their 8-5 non-league loss to Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA).
The Panthers (3-5) will now prepare for their match against North Forsyth (Cumming, GA). The Raiders go into the non-league match with a 9-2 record. In their last match, North Forsyth gained a win over Norcross (Norcross, GA), 8-3, in a non-league match.
