The North Mecklenburg Vikings crushed the visiting Garinger Wildcats baseball team by a tally of 19-8 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Vikings now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Corvian Community for a non-league bout on Friday, March 3. North Mecklenburg will face a Cardinals team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-0.

Next, the Wildcats face the West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 6. Garinger will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
