Michigan High School Basketball - Huron can't hold off River Rouge
March 2, 2023: Ann Arbor, MI 48105 The River Rouge Panthers basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Huron River Rats to 54 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western International for a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 8. River Rouge will battle a Cowboys team coming off a 50-13 non-league win over Melvindale (Melvindale, MI). The Cowboys record now stands at 10-13.
The River Rats (19-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln (Ypsilanti, MI). The Railsplitters come into the non-league contest with a 7-16 record. In their last contest, Lincoln edged Ypsilanti (Ypsilanti, MI), 54-34, in a non-league contest.
